MY STORY
My name is Joshua Durio. I’m 26 years old, a husband, a father, a son, a businessman, and most importantly, a man of God.
SimpleRides didn’t begin with money, investors, connections, or everything figured out.
It began with a decision to change my life.
There was a time when the word hustler described me differently.
I came from an environment where you learned how to survive. You learned how to make something happen when you didn’t have much. You learned to keep moving when life didn’t give you an easy path forward.
But as I grew into a man, became a husband and a father, my definition of hustling changed.
I realized I didn’t just want to survive anymore.
I wanted to build.
I wanted to take that same hunger, determination, courage, and refusal to quit and put it toward something legitimate. Something my children could look at one day and be proud of. Something my family could inherit instead of having to start over.
I had people depending on me.
And that changed everything.
MY FAMILY IS MY WHY
Becoming a husband and father gave my ambition a different meaning.
I don’t go hard just for myself anymore.
I go hard for my family.
I want my children to grow up knowing that your beginning doesn’t determine your ending.
I want them to know that a man can acknowledge where he came from without being trapped by it.
You can change direction.
You can mature.
You can turn survival skills into business skills.
You can turn mistakes into lessons.
You can turn an idea into something real.
And with faith, discipline, patience, and consistent work, you can build something bigger than yourself.
SimpleRides is part of what I’m building for them.
WHY I CREATED SIMPLERIDES
SimpleRides LLC was established in 2026 from nothing but an idea and a vision.
I saw something simple:
Everybody needs transportation, but transportation isn’t equally accessible to everybody.
Some people struggle to qualify for traditional services.
Some people simply can’t afford the options they’re given.
Some people are working, rebuilding, taking care of their families, or trying to get back on their feet — and sometimes they just need an opportunity.
I understand what it feels like to need an opportunity.
That’s why SimpleRides exists.
We’re building an alternative transportation community centered around accessibility, simplicity, respect, and opportunity.
We’re starting small, but the vision isn’t small.
My goal is to grow SimpleRides from a company created from nothing into one of the biggest rental and rideshare platforms on the market.
Not just because I want to say we made it.
But because the bigger SimpleRides becomes, the more people we have the opportunity to serve.
MORE THAN A RIDE
To me, transportation isn’t always just transportation.
A car can mean getting to your first day at a new job.
A ride can mean making an important appointment.
Transportation can mean getting home to your children.
It can mean getting another opportunity when life hasn’t gone according to plan.
That’s what I want SimpleRides to represent.
Another option.
Another way forward.
Another opportunity.
