How are documents protected?
This prototype stores files locally in this browser only. Public launch needs encrypted storage, retention rules, access logs, and attorney-reviewed consent before collecting real IDs.
Where does pickup happen?
Pickup is limited to approved Austin-area boundaries confirmed during review. Exact location is shared only after approval, payment, and agreement steps are complete.
When do weekly payments clear?
Every new rental starts with at least one full paid week. After that initial week is booked, approved renters may request daily extensions. Extension payment must clear before the added day begins. Failed or late payments can pause eligibility.
Can I pay with Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, Chime, or Zelle?
Yes, when owner-approved and tied back to the same verified debit card on the application. Debit-card name matching is still required before review.
Can I use Uber, Lyft, or DoorDash?
Platform use must comply with each platform's rules, vehicle eligibility, insurance requirements, and Simple Rides owner approval.
